We offer traditional bed and breakfast accommodation which is nestled in a garden surrounded by bush. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and a separate entrance looking out into the garden. The road to Birdwing meanders through farming country to the Mersey River. Just five minutes drive from us you can fish, canoe, swim or just sit and enjoy the beauty and serenity in complete privacy. A short walk up hill has a 360 degrees view of the Great Western Tiers, the Gog Range, Mt Roland and the surrounding countryside. On our place we have chooks, some sheep and two loved dogs. Our garden is rambling and we have a thriving orchard and vegetable garden for you to enjoy.Driving along the Bass Highway either to or from Deloraine, turn off to Weegena and travel for about 15 minutes to Birdwing. We are 45 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport and 50 minutes from Launceston airport. So we are a great base for exploring the NW Tasmania.At this stage we are offering accommodation for two adults.You can park your car close to the private entrance to your room.WIFI is available in your room.In your room is a television, radio and CD player. You can make tea and good coffee and for a reasonable extra charge we will provide you with a BBQ basket so you can cook on the WeberQ BBQ just outside your door.
